On sunny days, and to remove cold air collected inside the chimney, take a cloth piece, fold it into a small ball, wet it with diesel, and light it inside the heater elbow.
This step is known as chimney sharraq. It is necessary to warm the chimney and speed up ignition.

Place the supplied wick thread under the combustion unit to make ignition easier.
Set the regulator indicator to the middle position.
After finishing the chimney sharraq step, open the tank valve six full turns.
Confirm diesel has reached the unit by looking below the combustion unit.
Using the dedicated lighter or a match, ignite the diesel inside the combustion unit.
If ignition does not start, look for the cause in dirty diesel or weak chimney draft.

Adjust the heater legs so the heater becomes completely level, then lock the bracket after adjustment.
Make sure the heater stands perfectly level on the floor to ensure the diesel regulator works correctly.
At the end of winter, empty the diesel tank completely and clean it thoroughly with a cloth.
Do not use chemicals or water to clean the combustion unit, to protect the device from damage.
