Operating details

02

Preparation

  • Fill the fuel tank with clean diesel up to the marked line inside the filter.

Chimney sharraq

  • On sunny days, and to remove cold air collected inside the chimney, take a cloth piece, fold it into a small ball, wet it with diesel, and light it inside the heater elbow.
  • This step is known as chimney sharraq. It is necessary to warm the chimney and speed up ignition.

Starting

  • Place the supplied wick thread under the combustion unit to make ignition easier.
  • Set the regulator indicator to the middle position.
  • After finishing the chimney sharraq step, open the tank valve six full turns.
  • Confirm diesel has reached the unit by looking below the combustion unit.
  • Using the dedicated lighter or a match, ignite the diesel inside the combustion unit.
  • Turn on the turbine fan after 20 minutes of operation to get hot air.
  • If ignition does not start, look for the cause in dirty diesel or weak chimney draft.

Care and safety notes

Important notes

  • Adjust the heater legs so the heater becomes completely level, then lock the bracket after adjustment.
  • Make sure the heater stands perfectly level on the floor to ensure the diesel regulator works correctly.
  • At the end of winter, empty the diesel tank completely and clean it thoroughly with a cloth.
  • Do not use chemicals or water to clean the combustion unit, to protect the device from damage.
